Services provided by the community nurse cover:
comprehensive nursing care over individuals, families, communities in their environment, taking into account the place of service provision, including:
- prevention services, including patronage visits to children from the third to the ninth month, and performing screening tests for children aged 6, according to the check-up schedule,tuberculosis preventive care
- tuberculosis preventive care
- health services, such as: injections and treatments on the health insurance physician’s request – at the primary health care nurse’s treatment room and at the patient’s home
- diagnostic services, including the collection of samples for diagnostic tests on the request of the primary care physician in cases in which, for medical reasons, sample collection should be performed at the patient’s home
- care and rehabilitation services, in particular for persons with reduced medical fitness due to illnesses
